Know the Price You Pay

Know that there will always be a cost to any decision you make. While we have discussed knowing what our opportunities are and how what you choose means losing the other options, we now need to discuss knowing the price you will pay when making an opportunity cost.

My first concern is that you may freeze up and not make any decision in fear of losing out on all of your options. By doing this, you have still made a decision and lose out on all of them. This is where that famous quote from Babe Ruth applies: "Never let the fear of striking out get in the way." If you do that, you let fear drive your life and you won't move forward in anything. That isn't what life is supposed to be about.

My second concern is that you will question every decision you make. I want to level more into this in a later post, but for now, I will say- just don't. Don't questions every decision, this will also lead to fear of making more decisions the first something doesn't work out for you.

When you make the decision, make it knowing that there will be a cost, but you have taken as much as you can into account. The rest is up to God. You've done your part. Trust you have done what you thought best with what you had in front of you at the time.
